I think could be the start of a great trend in American sport: naming teams’ stadiums after their mascots’ mortal enemies. Blackpool soccer club in England used to have a stand called “The Sir Stanley Matthews Memorial stand sponsored by Pricebusters.”The sign stretched the length of the stand

I think it helps to have a stadium name that doesn’t sound *too* corporate. The Emirates sounds like it *could* refer to something other than an airline so it doesn’t sound too bad. Likewise the Allianz Arena in Munich. Spurs will probably go for the ENIC Arena, which won’t catch on.
