Who will be the Angels and Demons in Rome?
The new Angels and Demons movie is based in Rome so it got us thinking who might end up being an angel or a demon after Wednesday’s Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona.
Will one of the goalkeepers drop a clanger or will Cristiano Ronaldo belt one in again from 40 metres? It’s a big pitch at the Stadio Olimpico, but I can see Lionel Messi running the length of it with the ball at his feet…

Watch out for an unlikely hero … remember Juliano Belletti in 2006. And Victor Valdes can sometimes like a little nervous, but he has a habit of pulling off spectacular saves as well. He could go in either camp.
What a greater city and scenery could there be than Rome? And what a great idea to compare the players with the movie. Like your Reuters blogs!!!!
If Ronaldo pings one in from 40 METRES then i’d be impressed.
Angels and Demos…wow. I actually didn’t think about it. Incorporating it with the Champions League final.I did read the original book version of Angels and Demons before. To be honest, it is more exciting than The Da Vinci Code…
I just hope that tonights game lives up to it’s expectations. So many big games in the past have failed but i think that these two teams and the playes they have won’t let anyone down. I would like to see a 3-2 score line in the favour of Barca, i think they have been posted missing in this competiotn in the last few years but i think they might just have to much firepower for united.
3-2 either way would be pretty cool, M.
Two Argentines are unlikely to square off, Messi, nicknamed “the flea” and Tevez, but undoubtedly its going to be a great game.
My money’s on a poor backpass and a nervous error from Valdes, 1-0. And ROnaldo to miss another penalty at some point.
