You also go on to list some of the players that the other teams around them have such as berbatov, owen (?!), santa cruz, malouda, these are not bad players by any stretch of the imagination but they are not going to win you titles, your rooneys gerrards torres drogbas lampards are players that win you titles you have simply named players on the fringes of being the best players at their respected clubs and van persie arshavin fabregas (possible one of the best midfielders in europe at the moment) are up there with those torres drogbas etc. You think van persie is injury prone, why the hell have you listed michael glass knees owen there then?Ronaldo may be one injury away from losing some pace but what player isnt, what makes him so likely to get a bad injury when a) hes never had an injury track record b) hes playing in a less physical league and c) he gets so much protection from referees? united will miss ronaldo, how can anyone honestly believe a team will not miss a player who scored over 70 goals from midfield in 2 seasons?!?!And lastly, part-timers such as zidane, figo, casillas, ronaldo? Can tell you take an active interest in european football outside of manchester.

He is very 1-dimensional in his setup – Sky Sport News last night reported that he had overseen 150 transfers with a net spending of £30m. That isn’t enough any longer when Real Madrid spend nearly three times as much on one player. What have Arsenal won since Henry left? Nothing. The squad is full of kids and whilst they are talented kids, they don’t have the players who ahve been there, seen that and groundout the result on a rain-lashed February night at Bolton. They rely on total football – skill and slick passing. Oh, and BOTH Manchester teams have beaten them already this season.Arsene Wenger has rebuilt Arsenal and it took some arrogance to do. The same arrogance is still there and the belief that you don’t have to spend much more than a few £m to win stuff. News flash, Arsene, City have spent pot-fulls of cash, united have Rooney, Berbatov, Owen and a few kids up front. Chelsea have Drogba, Anelka and Malouda as well as a hell of a midfield, City have Robinho, Tevez, Bellamy, Adebayor, Santa Cruz and co, Liverpool have Torres and Kuyt. Arsenal have van persie, who gets injured too much and doesnt score enough and Arshavin, who has yet to prove anything.Arsenal will win nothing this season and will be lucky to pick up another trophy whilst Wenger is there. The likes of City and the rest of the top sides take the Carling Cup more seriously now – a pot is a pot – and the FA cup is a great get-out-of-jail-free-card for any manager. Are Arsenal going to win the UCL? Don’t think so and it would be a disaster for their fragile youngsters to driop into the Europa league due to the number of games.Arsenal need some good, esxperienced players to be bought in if they do want to win anything.Fergie has won it all, changed when he needed to change, admitted when he’d bought a dud and flogged them off. He’s sold player just as they went past theeir best for mega-money and Ronaldo will be another master stroke. £80m? He is one bad injury away from losing his pace and whilst La Liga is soft compared to the EPL, how much longer is he going to be this good? The whole superstar life will ake over, just like with Beckham (who would still be playing for Man U if he had kept his head down a la Scholes and Giggs) – sold to Real and plying his trade with some part-timers in a far away land.

MU can do as good without Ronaldo!no they cant, any team that loses the world player of the year is going to suffer especially when bringing in the likes of michael owen and antonio valencia to make up for his 30-40 goals a season, united hammered arsenal in the champions league semi final last season this season they relied on 2 lucky goals to beat the gunners, i cant wait for someone else to win the league and prove to all the dillusional united fans that ronaldo was exactly the reason why everything seemed relatively easy in the last couple of seasons, him scoring 9 goals in his first 7 games for madrid is no coincidence – i dont like the guy but he is just that good

At some points last season Fergie was reduced to trash talking in the media (mainly about Rafeal Benitz) which made him look petty and ridiculous. But for sheer football genuis I still maintain that no one will ever match the late great Brian Clough.
