I totally agree with johnny. There have always been a mismatch in terms of team allocations per continent (with Europe being allocated a lot of slots) in the world cup. It was a good thing to see South Korea, Japan, and the USA flourish in a tournament which have always been dominated by Europeans. Go underdogs!

That's what makes football such a fantastic game.

You are only as good as your next game!

Finally an article not on a World Cup without the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo in it. I am tired of reading such stuff.

'While that would leave Ronaldo kicking his heels on some beach next year, it would open the way for new names. Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko may not have much of a profile yet outside his home country and the Bundesliga where he plays, but after scoring 10 times in qualifying few would begrudge him his chance.'
True. Following the Bundesliga myself, I have also thought if Bosnia make it, it will be a good platform for Dzeko to showcase himself to the world. He had been linked before with a move to England and Italy, and the tournament is a good chance.
