Champions League draw – your views
David Beckham can look forward to en emotional evening at Old Trafford, after AC Milan were drawn to play Manchester United in the second round of the Champions League.
Beckham had said in the days leading up to the draw that he would love a chance to return to his old stamping ground and the England man has his wish in the pick of the matches (although Inter Milan v Chelsea isn’t bad either, for all you Mourinho watchers).
Here’s the draw for the round of 16 in the Champions League, just completed in Nyon this morning. More to come but please give us your views on the draw.
Stuttgart v Barcelona
Olympiakos v Bordeaux
Inter Milan v Chelsea
Bayern Munich v Fiorentina
CSKA Moscow v Sevilla
Olympique Lyon v Real Madrid
AC Milan v Manchester United

It is definitely what Beckham wanted. And who knows, it’s going to be explosive when the Special One returns to Stamford Bridge. Cracker.
Beckham has said he wanted to face United but Im not sure about Jose and Chelsea, I dont think he’ll be licking his lips really
Real Madrid will be pleased with Lyon, but having said that I can’t remember them actually beating them of late. Few bad results there as I recall, but stage set for Benzema
Fergie will be have the boot boys scrubbing away as we speak ready to launch a few in David’s direction as he sprints (jogs) down the Old Trafford touchline.
Hope he gets a good reception… and gets a hair cut. As for Chelsea, there will only ever be one ‘special one’, Ed de Goey.
Some fantastic games there, esp with Beckham going back to Old Trafford! Interesting to see how that will pan out! Funny thing is that I recently read the book ‘is: The Phenomenon of the Facebook Status’ recently and it has some fantastic CL and general Football Status updates. Real hardcore fan stuff! Check it out.

Love this website already!
I have a idea soccer sucks
why doesnt anyone on the website ever comment or write an article about arsenal?
We write quite a bit about Arsenal. Here’s our last Arsenal blog http://blogs.reuters.com/soccer/2009/12/ 14/arsenals-wenger-has-a-lot-to-shout-ab out/
Arsenal are being short of strong Premier League results lately; the gap between the blues football jerseys and those of Manchester United is being reduced week after week!
