MONDAY UPDATE: A truly appalling week for the panel. Admittedly, it was hard to predict Manchester United losing 1-0 at home to Aston Villa and Chelsea’s 3-3 home draw with Everton but nevertheless it was dreadful.
Some serious soul searching must go on in the coming weeks whilst eating our mincepies and finding yet another pair of socks when opening our Christmas presents.
Our leader Patrick was only spared the horror of a one point return by Arsenal’s 2-1 win at Anfield and the fact we’d made that the double pointer. Week winner Neil Maidment. who romped up to fourth with 17, also got that score spot on and deserves a bonus point for saying Arshavin would score.
Kevin wanted a bonus point for style for predicting 2-5 to Arsene Wenger’s boys but then he also said Spurs would win 6-0 and they lost. As he correctly guessed Bolton 3-3 Manchester City ( how bizarre is that given Bolton’s shot-shy nature?) he can have one extra, but that only brings him up to 9.
