Well John, the Yankees did not release the entire inventory of what they will offer but they seem bent on coming up with some mementos that won't break the bank of the average fan. They may strike you, however, as cheesy -- think memorabilia king Steiner mentioned breaking up a foul pole into pieces to include in key rings or something. If you're interested, stay tuned to their online alerts about what is being made available.

I don't know if I would want freeze dried grass either and certainly know that I will not be able to afford the large ticket Items that will be out there. I do however want the ability to get something so Please Steinbrenners and Steiners give us blue collar working guys who have spent so much of their hard work and money in the Stadium the chance to reap a reward.

I'm not one to buy memorabilia (though an old girl friend bought me a pair of seats from the old Yankee Stadium when they renovated it in the 1970s) but I do like to squirrel away mementos -- i have a copy of the note George Steinbrenner issued to reporters in the press box at the 1981 World Series when he apologized for the Yankees losing to the Dodgers. i hate to throw anything out, so have loads of programs and such crammed into drawers and bags ...
wondering if anyone out there has kept anything unusual or meaningful from a sporting event?
