Audio – The Middle East mindset

cote.jpgHoneywell CEO David Cote said that alongside India and China, he sees opportunities in the Middle East – especially in places like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain and Qatar.    
“You deal in the Middle East and they want to know what is your new idea, what’s different, what’s going to make this unique. What kinds of bells and whistles that you have, what can make this special… We find that this is true whether they are building a medical facility, a hotel residence or a chemical factory. It’s a very different headset.”

Cote made the comments at the Reuters Manufacturing Summit in New York.
