Pennsylvania governor says he drank Obama Kool-Aid

June 14, 2008

rendell.jpgPHILADELPHIA – One of the most ardent supporters of Hillary Clinton’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination has disclosed the secret behind his now public support of Barack Obama: he drank the Kool-Aid.
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, who often accused reporters of having “drunk the Obama Kool-Aid” during the nominating process, said he now has had some of the sweet drink himself.
At a fund-raising event on Friday, just a week after Clinton pulled out of the Democratic race, Rendell said that Obama supporters had brought him a big carton of Kool-Aid and told him to “drink up” when Obama became the nominee.
“I gave Senator Clinton $1,500 in the primary so I thought just for old-time sake I’d give Senator Obama $1,499,” Rendell said, sparking scattered boos from the crowd.
Rendell calmed them by saying “that was before I drank the Kool-Aid.” He said he has a check for $2,300 to give to the Obama campaign.

Well we see the governor is tryint to get on the train that is clearly moving on down the tracks. The rest better hop on because it’s moving to wipe our McCain before women have to be in backrooms getting illegal abortions again and before more our soldiers get killed in Iraq because to McCain don’t care how long they will be there.

PA will not vote Obama especially in WestMoreland and Somerset and rural county areas.

We DISLIKE Obama more then we LOVE Rendell. I do not see the love for Obama in Rendell. especailly after he repeated an Obama comment ” we dont need the people, we need their checks”.

Rendell is not a softball and I am glad he busted Obama’s chops about the comment.

Agree with Blair..

Despite the counties that went all Hillary Blue, They will go just as McCain Red in November.

PA is safe for McCain.

Casey Dems voted for Clinton, and they won’t vote for Obama, ever, no matter how well he speaks.

They are the most susceptible to the swift boat ads.

Just go BOO! and they’ll vote for McCain.

All McCain has to do is smile and say Barack’s middle name.

Hey Eddie… drink up — maybe you think Obama has some big job waiting in the wings for ya….. highly doubt it….. he’ll remember all those “wonderful” things you had to say about him while stumping for Hillary. Did our Eddie forget what this man said about people in “HIS” great state of Pennsylvania?????? Well, I know a lot of people who didn’t. Side note to Sad: Loved your comment “All McCain has to do is smile and say Barach’s middle name”. Awesome!!!!
