Comments on: The First Draft: tax torture Tracking U.S. politics Wed, 16 Nov 2016 03:39:51 +0000 hourly 1 By: TC Fri, 16 Jan 2009 00:56:07 +0000 Yeah, always criticize my(and everyone else’s) opinion on an article rather than comment on the article.

Mistake nothing. He didn’t pay taxes for four years. You can believe what you want, but it wasn’t a mistake.

When he paid his taxes, he only paid for two years, so he had two years tax free.

At least comment on the story, rather than tear someone else down. Be bold, think for yourself and go first sometime.

I’d have to go back and look at why Bush’s choices were rejected but I guessing it was more serious than forgetting to file as self employed. Stop playing the victim.

By: TC Wed, 14 Jan 2009 14:17:56 +0000 I am sure Geithner is a smart and capable person who would do a fine job as Treasury Secretary.

However, if he was a republican, he would already be out the door as an evil money grubbing wall streeter. There is a double standard and it isn’t right. I remember a few of Bush’s cabinet picks not making it for similar reasons. But I bet he is still confirmed anyway.

It is a double standard and that makes it a travesty.
