SF. With only 52 percent of the vote, there is no mandate. Nearly half the country does not want his brand of change.

Say what you want, but the current liberal political majority (the country is still just right of center) won’t last.

Whenever this happens, those who side in with the majority say the other side is dead. It isn’t and it won’t take long for the conservatives to come back and lead this country to true financial and military strength in this dangerous world. Micheal Steele was an excellent choice to lead the charge. If you have ever heard the man speak, you would realize he speaks for the majority of this country.

sorry you lost your job sf,you have my sympathy,being out work is heart breaking. i came from a town that had a small profitable steel works ,and the steel industry was nationalized ,although promised that if they stayed profitable they would be kept open ,the government lied and closed them down ,and moved their production to a new whit elephant they had built in a area that they had considerably more political support.in europe 17 %unemployment,60%work for the government.if you meet a friend you don,t say how do you do,you ask have you got a job.these are learning times sf don,t kick capitalism into touch yet.

no, I was referring to the Progress of the human race in general. We elected a man who will, and is, doing things differently. Whether or not you agree with everything he does, he is moving us forward with a transparency & accountability that has been entirely absent from our Country’s leaders for the last 8 years.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect Utopia in WashDC, & I know corruption exists on both sides of the aisle.

But if you can’t see that these backwards fatcats to quote Stine here, ‘playing games with people’s lives’ are on their way out, you’re not paying attention.

This isn’t Obama’s mandate, it’s America’s.

sf the “new age of accountability and progress”are you talking about the democrats that are now being investigated? the countries name should be changed to chicago ,because what has gone on there ,appears to be just the tip of the ice berg ,as more and more democrats are added to the list every day. people are becoming disillusioned as stuff keeps floating to the surface.

Accountability, really? We are bailing out people who are the antithesis of accountability. And where is the progress? What progress are you referring to? Progressively bigger government? I still do not believe that I see this in print! This should be a headline. The Repub party was hyjacked 15 – 20 year ago. Not the party I remember growing up. I will be most happy when they are but a memory.

Over 20 states have drawn up resolutions declaring state sovereignty to the federal government. The Federal government is overstepping it’s bounds and some states are beginning to push back. Tell the feds to keep their money and their unfunded unconstitutional mandates. Time to send the federal government to the unemployment lines.

After this & California,is there any American who can honestly say they still take the Republican party seriously?
