We, as a nation, do not move forward without research and development. And as a nice side benne, it employs a bunch of people. Infrastructure is important too. It sure enhances my life - I like roads, communications, energy, public projects, schools ... Oh, and it employs a bunch of people. "Pork" has become a four word that the Repubs use to "shock and appall" - a tidbit to keep the base riled up. Embrace the fact that this money is being spent on the people instead of the socialist money institutions. No one can blame George Bush for this fiasco. Obama is doing nothing to help this country survive.
