Comments on: First Draft: Al Gore heads for the Hill http://blogs.reuters.com/talesfromthetrail/2009/04/24/first-draft-al-gore-heads-for-the-hill/ Tracking U.S. politics Wed, 16 Nov 2016 03:39:51 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=4.2.5 By: Michael B http://blogs.reuters.com/talesfromthetrail/2009/04/24/first-draft-al-gore-heads-for-the-hill/comment-page-1/#comment-391087 Thu, 30 Apr 2009 04:22:33 +0000 http://blogs.reuters.com/frontrow/?p=17248#comment-391087 A bridge between the two opposing points in the comments above: On the one side, you’re right, government will control and deceive based on facts that they themselves make up and propagate. On the other hand, there is a planet we all share. The rub is that we’re lied to that it is emissions from motors and generators that are the main damage to our planet, because the government can claim new controls if that is the issue. But what is really the issue of healing our one single planet is something we each are the only ones, as families and individuals, who can do something about it. The issue is meat agriculture. It pollutes more than anything else, and is also the biggest power and money force behind the government. So don’t let the government hoodwash you — go veg – know the truth – heal the planet.

It never hurts to have the air a little cleaner but to think we puny humans can control climate is insanely arrogant.

Sam. Well said. There really isn’t anything to worry about.

This is still a debate and one that has not been fully discussed. The Dalton Minimum (global cooling) could make all this Global Warming talk a moot point. Meanwhile the government finds a new vein of revenue and control to exploit.
Where was the Global Warming debate? None. It was declared an imminent threat and everyone else with a dissenting pov was a kook. Any time I see a scenario like that, well, you have to wonder.

TC, the only thing the planet needs to be saved from is humanity.

Prepare to be taxed heavily to save the planet. From what, no one knows.

From there, man has decided they’re smarter than God. That’s when things began to go south. Theirs no such thing as global warming, it’s just a scam to let the politicians spend our tax dollars. One day, and it won’t be long, this world will learn that God is in control, by then it will be to late. Al Gore has already scared our children with his propaganda. Back in the seventies some educated idiots said we would be frozen, one said that all the different animals would be gone, look around, there’s plenty of wildlife where I live. Check the statistics in the insurance business, they write checks daily for animals hitting automobiles on our highways. How long does it take for the people to figure out what the government is doing??? Remember the story about chicken little, running around saying the sky is falling! I have never in my life seen any more gullable people than the ones in this world.
