"They are fellons!!!"

Some conservatives want voters to pass a literacy test before they can vote. Think about it. The Tea Party would disappear overnight.

Someone responded to the illegal immigrant article on May 29, 2010, and said their was a messure(?) passed in MO. What I want to know is if it is a law? If not a law what good is a measure. I have not figured out what the uproar is with the illegal people that are in this country. Congress says they are not criminal so I will vote every incombent out because they do not know the word meaning of "illegal" and they should all be sent back because they are fellons!!!!

I do not see why everyone is getting so worked up over AZ's new law.

In 2007 Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the Official language of MO. Nearly 90% voted in favor. English became the officail language for all govt. proceedings in MO. It also means no individual has the right to demand govt. services in ANY language other than English...

In 2008, a measure was passed that requires Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be here illegally. It allows MO law enforcement to receive training to enforce federal immigration laws. The bill also makes clear that illegal immigrants will NOT have access to taxpayer benefits, such as food stamps and health care through MO HealthNET.

In 2009 a measure was passed that ensures MO public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals here illegally.

Everybody is focused on AZ, while MO has been proactive in addressing this growing problem. MO has sent a clear message that illegal immigrants are NOT welcome there and they are NOT welcome to receive public benefits at the cost of the MO taxpayers.

Information is from "the Ozarks Sentinel" Nita Jane Ayers May 13, 2010

Wow, Wonkette uses the word "racist" twice in one sentence. A pat on the head for the righteous little robot. Let's see her duke it out now with that nastiest of racists, that king of racial profilers. You know -- the one called reality, the one that's nefariously arranged for the large majority of illegal immigrants to be Hispanic.

Kudos to the ad. Ridicule is a very effective political tool, as it forces your opponent into immediate defensive mode. They may mount a spirited defense, but you've seized the tactical initiative.
