Especially with urban poor in gerrymandered districts.

However in statewide and national races, this is not true. There are many famous black personalities that supported Clinton over Jesse in prior primaries. Shaq was one of them.

As to why do 90% of African Americans support Obama – well its because many are poor and poor peoples interests are represented by Democrats (well at least from a superficial level). Cain would have not got majority of the black vote if he would have won the Republican nomination against a white democrat. Its not racial voting when there are underlying ideological reasons.

Being a President is a lot more than writing comments in blogs or simply claiming one can do a better job without exactly detailing out how.

Shaq has proven himself as the very best, and understands what it takes to perform at that level. He recognizes performance when he see one.

It’s DISGUSTING that a wealthy person who considers himself a businessman would make that choice.

The economic indicators in the country are the worst they have been since the great depression.

Why don’t I get a major story from Reuters? I know as much about this as Shaq, probably more.

I find it humorous when Republicans, who always vote WHITE, say that Blacks voted for Obama because he is Black…lol..lol..white people will 90% of the time vote for another WHITE person, but you idiot never seem to thnk about that or bring it up when you attribute the Black vote to Obama….the only reason McShame and Snowbilly Snookie did not get 90% of your votes last time, is because most of you new she was an un-educated,trailer trash idiot, and just voted for the Black guy because of that…reverse racism is right, and most (NOT ALL) white people have practiced this all of their pitiful racist lives…and Shaq endorsing President Obama is no different than Tebow or anyone else in sports endorsing a republican candidate, but then again, they are what you folk would describe as “conservatives”, so that would be alright, huh? What a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites…

Apparently Obama joked around with the team, telling Ray Allen that he needs to teach Rondo how to shoot. Rondo was apparently crushed by the comment, and his game still hasn’t recovered to where it was. I don’t think Obama meant to be insulting, but he’s quite unaware of how his unscripted comments can affect someone – be it a point guard or a business owner.

I’m not sure why Shaq thinks he’s doing a “fabulous job”, knowing that he’s had this kind of negative affect on many of us, including someone so close to him, over the last 3 years.

@Jzehoshua, most African-Americans voted for him not only because they can identify with him race wise, but his policies and proposals help those with less money, which unfortunately the vast majority of African-Americans are still part of the low income demographic.

Also you mention Obama’s ‘character or lack thereof’, seriously dude?!?!?! I would put Obama’s character ahead of ANY of the GOP candidates, BY FAR! and 95% of Americans. One perfect example is with all of the baseless attacks against him by the tea-baggers and even being heckled during State of the Union speeches (remember ‘Liar!’), he has never once responded with a lack of class.
