The latest dump of more than 3,000 emails from Hillary Clinton’s private server show the lighter side of her job leading the State Department.

Tipped by a BBC reporter that Israeli officials were “sounding a bit cocky” on the plane ride home from a March 2010 Washington visit centered on the stalled Middle East peace process, Clinton replied: “They always sound cocky – in the air or on the ground.”

In a 2010 email, Clinton complains about “fighting” with a White House telephone operator “who doesn’t believe I am who I say and wants my direct office line” while trying to place a call with him.

“I told him I had no idea what my direct office (number) was since I didn’t call myself and I just hung up and am calling thru (State Department’s operations center) like a proper and properly dependent Secretary of State–no independent dialing allowed.”

Setting up a conference call about the release of Wikileaks cables, Clinton asks her then chief of staff Cheryl Mills, who was vacationing in the Dominican Republic, “what does ‘fubar’ mean?”

“Fubar is unprintable on civil email,” Mills replies. The military acronym stands for (expletive) up beyond all recognition.

Strange that the smartest woman in the world wouldn’t know that.

Wow, fun and games going over each and every e-mail of Hillary’s. Exactly what purpose does the the release of the content of these particular e-mails serve other than trying to embarrass a political candidate? No purpose what-so-ever.
