Bush’s baby Hitler comment goes viral on social media

November 10, 2015

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush had people talking on Tuesday, but not in anticipation of his appearance on the fourth televised GOP debate.

Instead, social media was abuzz with the former Florida governor’s comments about killing “baby Hitler”.

Both the hashtag #BabyHitler and topic ‘Baby Hitler’ were trending heavily on social media a day after Bush said if he had the opportunity to kill Adolf Hitler when the German autocrat was an infant, he would.

“Hell yeah, I would!” was his response to the question during an interview with the Huffington Post on Monday.

Bush’s response went viral on social media.

The White House hopeful later tweeted the article featuring his answer with a comment, “Gotta do it.”

While most of the responses on social media to Bush’s comments were comical, some were more negative and serious.

Verified twitter user Chantal Claret (@chantalclaret) chimed in more seriously:

Other responses were playful in nature.

Stand-up comedian Travon Free (@Travon) tweeted:

Freakonomics’ Greg Rosalsky joked:

Bush’s comments follow a similar remark by another GOP presidential candidate, Ben Carson, who last month said had the Jews taken up

firearms against the Nazis, they might have been able to prevent the Holocaust.

The fourth Republican presidential debate will be held at 9p.m. ET on Fox Business Network.

So Jeb Bush back in the beginning of the 20th Century, if he were alive then, would have killed an infant who had been born and had not done any harm to anyone. Bush, then, would have been God. So we have Bush the God, Carson who is rewriting history of Egypt, specially the Pyramids whom he says they were built by Joseph to store grain. What a cast.
