Incorrect, Lowell. Liberal ideology is based on the concept of equal rights and anyone who does not support equal rights for other races or populations (the gay, the disabled, women, etc) is, by definition a racist or bigot.

It is not bigotry to call out bigotry or racism to expose racism.

Liberal ideology for several centuries has promoted the concept of equal rights, opposed slavery, the oppression of women, etc. If you do not support this liberal ideology, you support the reactionary concepts of inequality based on race, gender, religion, etc.

Tolerance of intolerance is destructive of human rights. Tolerance of bigotry is complicity with tolerance. Those who oppose the liberal tenant that all are created equal and deserve equal rights are rightly called out as bigots.

In fact, we have a duty to call out opposition to the liberal concept of equality. As the founder of conservativism said “All that is required for evil triumph is for good men to do nothing.

Just as the current form of racism is to call those who call out racism the “real racists,” the current form of deny others equal rights calls those who expose them bigots.

This is the social psychology of denial (I am not a racist)/ projection( you are).

Classical liberalism is a political ideology and a branch of liberalism which advocates civil liberties and political freedom with representative democracy under the rule of law If you disagree with civil liberties and political freedom, you ARE a bigot.

I think you will have a real hard time with the forthcoming reality of President Trump.

Bush, but I haven’t managed to so far. He’d probably be a disaster for the environment, but even there I´m not entirely sure..

Justice Scalia shows time and again that he is a bigot and a racist and that he has no idea how smart many black Americans are. He obviously lives in a bubble of his own making.
