Trump strikes below the belt (again)

September 10, 2015
The Donald strikes again. After a string of misogynistic insults directed at FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly, some below-the-belt jabs at TV personality Rosie O’Donnell during the first GOP debate back in August and numerous other policy-unrelated attacks, Donald Trump took a stab at fellow Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine,  the billionaire real estate developer mocked Fiorina’s physical appearance by saying: “Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?” As Reuters’ Will Dunham noted, Fiorina is the only woman in the large field of Republicans vying for their party’s 2016 presidential nomination. Trump later backtracked and said that he wasn’t talking about the former executive’s looks.”I’m not talking about looks. I’m talking about persona,” Trump told CNN. But Trump’s remarks had already caused a storm among Twitter users. See below: [View the story “Trump slams Fiorina with ‘look at that face’ comment” on Storify]
