Citigroup Inc has hired two former senior Lehman Brothers fixed income executives, according to internal memos obtained by Reuters. Andrew Morton, previously global head of fixed income at Lehman, has joined Citi as managing director and head of G10 rates, risk treasury, and fixed income finance. John Gallo, formerly global head of liquid market sales at Lehman, has joined Citi as managing director and head of North American sales across multiple asset classes.

The bank named Ian Marsh chief executive of the UK Private Banking business. Marsh starts his new role from Nov. 1. Marsh is a managing director of Credit Suisse, based in London.

The brokerage firm named two former Lehman bankers Rachid Bouzouba and Sigurbjorn Thorkelsson as heads of its equity business in Europe and Asia. Bouzouba will lead equity sales and trading operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa, while Thorkelsson will head Nomura’s equity operations for the Asia-Pacific, including Japan.
