SOCIETE GENERALE CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANKING The French bank has hired Kelly Broadhurst as a senior institutional sales person, to market equity derivatives to U.S. long-only asset managers. Broadhurst was previously at UBS in a similar role.
BANK OF AMERICA CORP The bank replaced Andrew Gissinger of Countrywide Financial Corp with one of its own long-serving executives, Craig Buffie. Click here for the full story.
ROYAL BANK OF CANADA The bank appointed Doug McGregor and Mark Standish as co-chief executives of RBC Capital Markets, effective Nov. 1. McGregor will be based in Toronto and Standish will be based in New York.
PIONEER INVESTMENTS Investment management firm Pioneer has hired Sylvain Ghisoni as head of distribution for the French, Belgian and Luxembourg markets. Ghisoni will be responsible for fund of funds, private banking, structured products and regional banking customers. He was previously senior relationship manager at Fortis Investments.
BBU BANK The community bank appointed Rafael Saldana as president and chief executive. Saldana was previously with R-G Crown Bank.

CITIGROUP Citi has hired three bankers from Lehman Brothers to cover the healthcare sector. Chris Hite joins to co-head global healthcare investment banking with Rick Landgarten and Michael Hill. Tai Hah and Ray Cooper both join the group as managing directors.
UBS The Swiss bank appointed Joe Zhang as deputy head of Investment Banking, China, effective Sept. 29. It also promoted Henry Cai to vice chairman of UBS Investment Banking, Asia. Zhang was previously chief operating officer of Shenzhen Investment Ltd. Cai joined UBS in March 2006 as chairman of Investment Banking, China.
PIONEER INVESTMENTS The investment firm Pioneer has hired Gregg Dooling as a senior vice president and chief financial officer of Pioneer Investment Management USA. Dooling was previously at Putnam Investments, where he held various senior roles.
MESIROW FINANCIAL The asset manager’s London-based unit has hired an analyst and a marketer for its alternative asset subsidiary, Mesirow Advanced Strategies. John Collins, previously a senior investment consultant for Watson Wyatt, joins as a senior analyst, while Dermot Keegan, previously head of institutional marketing at Old Mutual Asset Managers, will head British and continental European client coverage.
STONE & YOUNGBERG Private investment bank Stone & Youngberg has hired Kevin Montoya as a senior vice president in its private client group. Montoya was a partner at Nollenberger Capital Partners and has also previously worked at Morgan Stanley.
