The 71-year-old Arizona senator said he would prefer to see “There Will Be Blood,” an epic about California’s turn-of-the-century oil boom.

McCain was joined in Charleston by his 95-year-old mother, Roberta McCain, who said she had just flown in from Europe to be with her son in South Carolina.

McCain, who had a slight lead over former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in the polls in South Carolina as voting began, was feeling good about his chances as a cold rain fell.

“We feel comfortable that we did everything that we could, that the campaign went as well as we could, and you can’t do anything about the weather,” he said. “And of course we had to get my 95-year-old mother down here to close the deal.”

It’s really interesting to see how the media, including yourself, spins the Nevada results. It was clearly a split decision as Hillary won more “votes” but Obama won more delegates. Reuter’s reporting isn’t accurate reflecting that fact, which further skews future voter’s impressions towards momentum.

Ron Paul. That is all….

Well I’ll also say:

I’m surprised I found something to actually agree with McCain about though, There Will Be Blood should be seen for many reasons. One is the sensational powerhouse Daniel Day-Lewis who probably does more to prepare his characters in film than any other actor in the buisness–and shows it. It’s also a very well made film.

No Country For Old Men is a drug for a tightly cut rigid plot thread blood-thirsty audience.
