For Clinton and Obama, money keeps rolling in

CHICAGO - The duel between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination isn’t ending soon and neither is their competition for cash.rtr1xwi6.jpg

Coming off her wins in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island, the former first lady sent a letter to supporters saying the victories had come “against all odds” and asking them to keep the cash flowing in order to meet a fund-raising goal of raising $3 million in 24 hours.

Both the Clinton and Obama camps have been pointing to the amounts of money their are hauling in as evidence their campaigns have enthusiastic backers.

The New York senator has reported raking in $35 million in February. Obama’s team says its Febuary tally is closer to $50 million though they don’t have an exact figure yet.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe told reporters on Wednesday that the Illinois senator’s team would have more to say about its February totals soon. One of the problems is that it takes time to count all that cash, he said.

“Candidly, we’re in the middle of these big contests and we have a lot money to process and we want to make sure we have the most accurate count of donors and average contributions,” Plouffe said.

What’s helping to fuel donations is the two-front battle Obama has been fighting against Clinton and Republican nominee Sen. John McCain.rtr1xwhd.jpg

“We’ve got not just Clinton banging on us every day but Sen. McCain so we need resources to deal with that,” Plouffe said.

Clinton’s fundraising has picked up sharply since January, when she raised $14 million to Obama’s $36 million and loaned her campaign $5 million from her own pocket.

Well, well, well, looky what we have here: politics as usual?! Say one thing, do another. Transparent government? Only what I want you to see. Give me a break! Try to hit her Obama, but you need some explaining to do on a number of issues yourself, and “we have run out of time”, or “I was busy” or “that was a boneheaded-move” doesn’t cut it! Not with the press and not with the American people. If you are going to run on the platform of “change you can believe in” or new politics then you’d better do it. Actions do speak louder than words.

Go Hillary! A proven, tested, vetted leader ready to go to work for us on day one!

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama:

Dear Madam, and Sir,

A Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama ticket is what we want. And that is what we need to take back the Whitehouse. We want a smart, tough, idealistic, seasoned veteran of many battles fighting for the American people (Hillary Clinton). With a young, passionate, smart, open-minded, hard-working idealist fighting for the American people (Barrack Obama). The DREAM TEAM!

You are both fabulous candidates. And we, the American people are very fortunate to have each of you. Taking back the Whitehouse is critical for the American people, and the world at this time. And I think the American people have been saying loudly, and clearly that a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket is the best way to do this.

I think the American people have made it very clear that they feel Hillary Clinton is the one best able to lead the ticket against John McCain at this critical, and desperate time in America, and around the world. These dramatic comebacks are testament to Hillary Clinton’s skill, and experience as a fighter for the American people. They are also a testament to the strong desire of the American people to have both of you fighting for the American people at this time of midnight in America.

Typical of the Clinton’s is an uncanny ability to see and understand what the American people want. And then to try and get it for them. Even if they have to go through three political near death experiences to try and get it for the American people. This is classic Clinton’s. They are the best I have ever seen.

We are desperate out here. Millions of us are suffering greatly. And tens of thousands of us are dying needlessly every year. Men, women, children, and babies. We need help! As Hillary Clinton said “It’s not a game”. We need the two of you together on our side fighting for us, and for the American dream for all. Not fighting against each other anymore.

It’s time for you Senator Obama to join forces with Hillary Clinton as her running mate so that we can all focus our energies, and resources on taking back America for the American people.

Don’t make me hurt you. :-)

Sincerely

Jacksmith…

Clintons are doing everything possible to steal the nomination from Obama. However, Bill and Hillary Clinton will not disclose the source of their millions of dollars donated to of their library foundation. They will not disclose their tax return either. In the mean time Hillary is funding part of her own campaign from her ‘own’ money.

Voters have a legitimate right to find who gave her those millions of dollars. How did Bill Clinton accumulate so much wealth after leaving the presidency?

Just got an email from Obama campaign; he raised over $55 million last month. Another $20 million gap. When will Hillary drop out?

“And please hillary you voted for the Iraq war and you cant wait to take advantage of the young soldiers”

So i’m not the only one who thinks this. And he’s right too. Voting for the war is basically sending troops to their deaths in iraq. Get lost Hillary

If the Democrats Can’t get their Actions, Let alone their Party together, they are so far back to the stone age, let them deal with the sabertooth jihadists and get their heads handed to them when they back out of Iraq, by the Iranians.

They don’t have a chance, the Republican Base, with the Independant Votes around the “Illegal Immigration and Border Security Issues, have Already sunk the Democratic Party, and all they want is another Re-Do? for Fla, and Michigan so Hillary gets the Nomination?

Give them Hell, McCain!

Samantha Power hum misspoke and it was off the record?. Puhlease! Since Power won a Pulitzer prize you can be assured she knew the rules for “off the record”. Power works for Senator Obama and you can bet her comments were meant to be said, heard and widely publicized. This speaks volumes about Senator Obama and his campaign. Samantha Power is the executive director and founder of Harvard’s Carr Centre for Human Rights. Wow, with an executive director with a mouth and tactics like that I wonder what human rights she directs.
