Where to find IMF news on the Web
If you’re looking to supplement your existing intake of all news IMF-related, check out some of the following sites and blogs:
- Economists at the IMF run their own blog, iMFdirect. Touted as a global economy forum, the blog covers everything from fiscal and monetary policy to debt relief to country and region-level case studies.
- Roubini Global Economics, a site that provides analysis on the global economy, has a page dedicated to the IMF and other international economic institutions. Noriel Roubini, the NYU economics professor who runs the site, also provides insights into the machinations of the global economy on his personal Twitter feed.
- The Peterson Institute for International Economics, a private, nonprofit research institute, provides an updated list of essential reading items about the IMF .
- Washington-based think-tank the Brookings Institution collects all of its IMF-related research neatly onto one page.
