What’s the funniest spot in Britain?

cleese.jpgThe VisitBritain tourism organisation is about to launch a campaign aimed at luring visitors to areas involved in the country’s rich comic history.

Torquay, for example, setting for the legendary Fawlty Towers guest house.

Another is Turville in Buckinghamshire where “The Vicar of Dibley” was filmed.

What places would you include in an itinerary of Britain’s comic heritage?

One comment so far

house of commons……….600 and odd comedians with no
script and no rehearsals but guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes.
how do they do it ?
how do they get away with it ?
outrageous..preposterous..ridiculous..su blime..worth the added expense..never cease to amaze..these are just a few of the reviews..a must for any tourist..provided they don’t take it to seriously.
