Best of Britain: Light and dark moments

The Queen and Prince Charles once again make it into Best of Britain, but this time they’re sharing a lighter moment at the Braemar Gathering. Other lighter moments include a cricket match between England and Pakistan as well as the Prime Minister kissing his new baby daughter.

On a more serious note, Veterans mark the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Blitz, pictures of victims of sexual abuse are placed outside the Vatican Embassy and a campaigner poses in a life-size replica of a death row cell, in London.
