It’s all about the angle and emotion in this image by Sam Kang Li from a rally by Tibetan protesters in Nepal. Through the use of the angle you view the protesters from the police point of view. The raw emotion on their faces adds the human element to the photo.

Powerful! I can feel the pain and frustration portrayed in this image! Worth every penny Reuters paid for this one.

Come on Corrine, let’s get the weekly showcase working properly! Your link under the word HERE in your blog entry should read:

http://www.reuters.com/news/pictures/yws lideshow?buddyJS=slideshow20080320174036 YW.js&title=You%20Witness%20Weekly%20Sho wcase&size=36‘,920,585,3,’reutersSlidesh ow’);

NOT:

javascript:commonPopup(’/news/pictures/y wslideshow?buddyJS=slideshow200803201740 36YW.js&title=You%20Witness%20Weekly%20S howcase&size=36′,920,585,3,’reutersSlide show’);

It doesn’t work on the latter link!!

Second, the showcase page doesn’t show the current slideshow. Your servers are still serving up last weeks edition….

Places on the web where you can post are swarming with Chinese government propagandists, in many cases pretending to have English names.

Give it up, boys. We have been exposed to Ari Fleischer and Baghdad Bob, and we know a phoney when we see one.

Better run and hide, boys. When the Secret Police realize what failures your propaganda efforts are, a single bullet to the back of the head won’t be far way!

I support the struggle of Tibetans for religious freedom and human rights! http://www.freetibet.com

I feel really tired to argue with the people who are shouting for ‘FREE TIBET’. I only hope people doing so can visit Tibet, and talk with the real Tibetans, not the monks and lamas who are fed by Chinese government and ordinary Tibetans, but are still not satisfied.
After seeing so many pictures of these Tibetan protestors, have you noticed one thing, why they always cry??? Why they always try to clash with the police???
