G20 protests turn violent
As the world turned to watch London stage the G20 summit, hundreds of photographers trained their lenses on the protesters demonstrating against the gathering.
Below is a selection of the best from Your View readers.
Snowy street scene
As snow covered London, Your View contributors showed us how it looked through their lenses. Graeme Williams used the ambient light to cast a blue hue over this snowy street scene. Graeme’s image was displayed in a slideshow of Your View pictures on the reuters.co.uk site this week.View this week’s Your View weekly slideshow here.

Follow that torch
Among the many high-quality Olympic torch relay photos we received, this one from Lee Robinson in London stands out due to its dramatic framing, vivid colors and unique angle.

Photo is great! As I often photograph people in the street,I see that normally chances to make stunning photo are not very high. Good photos are often result of lucky chance- to be at the right moment at the right place

I would say they are at the right place to address the real enemy. Maybe the police in that picture are exhausted from beating on the woman above. I don’t see any injured police but she still looks to have had a bit of a “punch up”. We only see what the photographer sets up for us. Perhaps when you have to protect the greedy elite of the world from your countrymen and women you would be exhausted.
