Children in the month of Ramadan
This week saw a wide range of submissions illustrating events marking the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. These three selected images have another common theme as they capture children involved in those events.

Sometimes it takes getting in close to a situation to really capture what the subject is going through. Your View contributor Mohamed Heikkal Ismail does exactly that in this photograph of a boy grimacing as he is circumcised in Malaysia.
